Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't been posting much. I've been doing a lot of college work, drawing my ass off and playing a lot of video games to keep m wild imagination in power. Currently, I've been working on my technique -trying to improve upon it- regardless of people telling me how good it is already. I always feel that there's something missing, and in my desperate attempt at becoming a better artist, I'm forever in learning.

I will admit though, I been side-tracked ever so often with a great game or two(or fifty...) like Guild Wars 2. I had the first Guild Wars, and it was amazing to me, so I only saw it natural to pick up GW2(by the way I've had this game for about a year now. not trying to sound new to it). And it does not disappoint. Personal stories and quest are what i love. RPG element are what fueled my passion in the first place, so this game is good for me in more ways than one. Plus, The Charr are fucking awesome! Now, I'm normally not a cat person, but i'll make an exception for a militarism-society, feline/bovine hybrid race any day of the week. But just know that I'm doing well, and my artwork, and skills are coming along nicely to say the least.

It seems that my never-ending quest for a scanner has finally come to an end so I'll be scanning and saving my work again in no time (So many year-or months, I can't remember- lost...)

Anyways, thanks in advance and after to all who enjoy my artwork and look forward to more. Thank you guys, I really appreciate your interest in my art.

Well, the Summer is almost over and I've started back up in school. Even though I'll be a little focused on my studies, I'm always open for Commissions check above this Journal entry on my homepage. Just give me a shout and I'll see what I can do.

Today I bought myself a premium Deviantart Account. As I adjust to my new settings and (honestly, pointless) add-ons, I question myself; Was it worth it? I suppose, in a sense. I gain more access to the artistic works on the site, which is always a victory from my perspective. I get to change my name to it's correct feature (Youth is a funny thing). The "Doushin"("Doushi' meaning soul or life force. I thought the "n" would make it masculine) part was something of a fascination of my own art. But then again, is that all I did it for? Was there truly no real motif behind it? I mean honestly! My journals have categories! I stand on the verge of my being, challenging my self-consciousness and my pride, with ego and thriftiness. Why do you need premium membership on an art website anyway? What could you possibly do with it? Would it really matter or make your art better? And if you're really into "that" type of thinking, how do you make art "better"?  As I recall myself back to the real world, I realize that I went past my pride -and better judgement- all just to get some spiffy new visuals and a name change like some off-land vagabond escapee. For those of you who wonder, will to wonder, or just dream at nights about buying a premium accounts, I wouldn't know what to tell ya'. I guess you've have to find your own reasons(selfish or otherwise) to ignore your conscience for 4 to 30 bucks of high-class status on an art viewing website. Which I have to say is beyond my comprehension as to why anyone would do it. But then again, I just paid about $8 to change my username, so I guess selfishness counts as said reason. However, it won't change my art or my productivity. So for the newcomers welcome and join the crowd. And for the faithful, stay tuned!
